Research technological stations

Basic research stations are:

  1. Station for magnetic separation of rock resources, equipped with magnetic and mode-electric separators including additional accessories.
  2. Station for air classifying of mineral resources, equipped with zigzag classifier.
  3. Station for research on parameters of conveyor belts transportation and used specialist belts.
  4. Station for research on resistance of rollers in conditions of high dustiness and humidity.
  5. Station for attesting the software of industrial drivers.
  6. Station for digital modeling of deposits and extraction systems and maps drawing using digital technique, equipped with A0 color scanner and copying devices.
  7. Station for testing the content of heavy metals, alkalis and rare elements in soil water and plants, equipped with atomic absorption spectrophotometer and devices for absorption and transmission of concentration measurement, certified by PCA.
  8. Station for research on durability of various materials, equipped with universal durability-testing machine with computer registration of runs.

Apparatus

  1. Appliance for registering and monitoring of paraseismic vibrations and blast type UVS 1500 and 1504, having PCA certification concerning EU requirements compatibility and also certified by WUG for performing measurements.
  2. Sonic and supersonic flaw detector type 562 HIGH and device for supersonic machines diagnostics in field.
  3. Apparatus for testing mining and energetic machines and appliances in digital system, adapted for performing extensometric tests and testing electric and mechanical values.
  4. Appliances system for measuring hydraulic values, type HYDAC used in force hydraulics for testing pressures and flows.
  5. Emission scanning Spectrometer ICP-OES OPTIMA 2000 DV

Experimental-workshop base

  1. Prototypes and experimental appliances workshop equipped with service areas.
  2. Belts and rubber products workshop equipped with production facilities.

Legal permissions from

  1. President of State Mining Authority for attesting research on specialist machines for extraction and storage and appliances for continuous transportation (excavators, dumping conveyors and belt conveyor) used at open cast mining sites. This caused inclusion of Poltegor-Institute into a group of attesting and opinion-making units for open cast mining with a task of development of technical and admitting opinions on compatibility with executive regulations of Prime Minister Decree on 24th August 1994.
  2. President of State Mining Authority on 13th April 1995 in scope of blasting technique.
  3. Ministry of the Environment in scope of performing works concerning obtaining concessions for deposits exploitation according to new geological, mining and water regulations.
  4. Moreover our employees have personal legal permissions from appropriate authorities for performing works concerning special requirements of regulations on environmental protection, hydrogeology, geology and engineering constructions.
