Most important achievements
Specification of the zone of harmful seismic vibrations caused by blasting works
Works are carried out by Laboratory of Rock Mass Seismic holding legal permissions (WUG and MOSZNiL) and certified by Polish Center of Research and Certification. Works are based on direct field measurements, and the results are calculated with use of special computer software according to regulations of Mining Law and recommendations of norm PN-85/B-02170.
Goal achievement concerns main issues:
- construction of geological-tectonic region of blasting
- technology of blasting works
- geophysical measurements of seismic propagation
- method of objects seismic resistance evaluation
- modeling of seismic propagation
Effects resulting from work:
- elimination of harmful effects of blasting works in objects located in mining area
- protection against mining damages for surrounding areas
- limitation and elimination of negative impact of vibrations on environment
- update of blasting works documentation according to current requirements of Mining Law
